Swamp of the Unknown

Update. Word count on my WIP brings me about one-third of the way.

Since I’m plodding through the swamp of the unknown (no outline) in this novel, I think my progress is adequate. Of course, I wish I was ready for revision, but I’d also wish I was reclining on a beach in the Bahamas drinking a Corona with lime. Can’t have it all, eh?

What are you wishing for?  How are you progressing with your novel? l-and-l-web

  1. I might just join you for that Corona in the Bahamas! We’re staring down another minus twenty degree C cold spell here in Illinois. Eeek!
    As for the novel …
I’m doing pretty well with the revision, slow but steady. Except there’s this other story– featuring this dude by the name of Tristan and it keeps trying to squeeze in between the cracks. I’m resisting writing this as I lack an outline and really don’t want to make a mess of it, but every time I sit down to write, a little more seeps out. Darn it! 🙂
(Of course, this makes me very happy, but slows down progress on the revision, etc.)

    1. Honestly, I’d be thrilled to have more than one idea at a time, but one seems all I can handle.
Oh, the weather. It’s snowing here in CO. Cold but not frigid. So, stay warm and remember we’ll be wishing for this by July – when it’s 100 degrees.
